Why this site exists
Choosing software is harder than it should be. Vendor pages describe an ideal customer you may not be. Review sites often rank whoever pays most. Search results fill with pages that restate a feature list without ever saying who a product is wrong for.
This site is built around the opposite instinct. Every platform profile documents real limitations alongside real strengths, states what it costs including the renewal price, and shows the date the facts were last checked.
How we work
Facts come from official sources: pricing pages, documentation, feature pages and changelogs. Every profile records which sources were used and when they were verified.
We never describe a platform as tested unless it was genuinely used. Profiles based only on published documentation say so, because a reader deserves to know the difference.
What this site is not
It is not a directory that lists every product in a category. It is not a news feed. It is not a place where the highest commission decides the recommendation.
Coverage is deliberately limited to platforms worth writing about properly. A shorter, more useful library beats an exhaustive one nobody trusts.
Corrections
Products change constantly and some of what is published here will go out of date. If you find something wrong, tell us and it gets fixed. Contact details are on the contact page.
