How Techistuff makes money.

Techistuff is designed to be useful first and commercially sustainable second. This page explains the revenue models we use or may use, and the rules that keep monetization separate from editorial judgment.

Affiliate links

Affiliate marketing is an important early revenue model for Techistuff. When a reader clicks an eligible link and later buys or signs up, Techistuff may receive a commission from the merchant or affiliate network. The reader's price is generally not increased because of that referral.

Affiliate status does not buy a better conclusion.

We do not promise a product a higher ranking, a positive review or inclusion in a comparison in exchange for commission. If a product is a poor fit for the reader described on the page, the content should say so.

Other revenue models

Display advertising

As the audience grows, advertising may support the cost of research, editing and site operations. Ads should not be presented as independent recommendations.

Sponsorships

Paid campaigns or sponsored placements may be accepted when relevant, but they should be clearly labeled and separated from independent editorial conclusions.

Software partnerships and lead generation

Some commercial relationships may pay for qualified referrals, demos or leads. The commercial arrangement should not override the editorial assessment.

Owned products

Techistuff may eventually offer newsletters, templates, tools, digital products, premium research or software. Owned products should be identified as such.

How products are selected

Commercial potential is one factor in building a sustainable publishing business, but it is not the only factor. We also consider audience demand, topical relevance, product quality, strategic completeness, realistic ranking opportunity and whether a useful page can genuinely be created.

What we do not sell

We do not intend to sell hidden positive reviews, undisclosed paid rankings or factual claims that a sponsor can dictate. Vendors can provide corrections and product information, but evidence — not payment — decides whether a factual correction is accepted.

Disclosure on individual pages

Pages containing affiliate or sponsored relationships may include a disclosure near commercial links or recommendation sections. Because programs, networks and commission structures change, a link being monetized today does not mean it will always be monetized.
